Excellent food at a decent price. The teppanyaki tonkatsu fillet cutlet course is ¥1550 and came with miso soup, white rice, two small dishes of pickled items and a seaweed dish, plus the main course of pork cutlet on a bed of bean sprouts on a sizzling metal plate. It was delicious and I left full. Friendly waiter did not seem upset that I couldn't speak Japanese. Thank you for your patience!

It is a pork cutlet shop with a calm atmosphere, which is located at the bottom of Kyoto Station. There is also an all-you-can-drink (limited time only) and take-out, and it is fulfilling.

Just come in and have one of the best Tonkatsu that you can have in Japan. Was feeling tired and confused after a hard day of walking and chanced upon this gem. Miso soup was nice and the pork cutlet juicy. Pretty sure you won't regret having this for a meal. We ordered the black pork fillet set. 2100 JPY. Do try it.

Yummy, good portions. We had the tonkatsu cutlet course and the nigiwai saizen course. The second came with a dessert that was a mandarin sorbet, very tasty.

Calm down and eat slowly

We randomly dropped in for dinner at this restaurant in the mall near the train station, and unexpectedly had a really nice meal. Especially the Tonkatsu was very juicy and tender. The place was clean and cozy as well.
